LOVE - GENEROSITY - HOPE

"There is no beautifier of complexion, or form, or behavior, like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us. 'Tis good to give a stranger a meal, or a night's lodging. 'Tis better to be hospitable to his good meaning and thought, and give courage to a companion. We must be as courteous to a man as we are to a picture, which we are willing to give the advantage of a good light."- Ralph Waldo Emerson

The past couple weeks have been trying. Very Trying. Everyone knows that.

You often have to wonder just HOW much one person, one family can handle.

When do you reach a breaking point??

When do you actually start to believe there are no good people left and everyone around you is cruel, two-faced and self-righteous?

Yestereday we were there. In the midst of an all time low, after being continually picked up, stepped on and finally dropped for good, the spirit of all things good emerged in a good deed by someone who didn't even have to help. Someone who emerged out of the woodwork. Someone with no ties to us what-so-ever....

The person, and the deed will remain anonymous.

You know who you are.

It's the Perfect time of Year - The TRUE spirit of Christmas.

We are eternally grateful for what you did. You will never know the impact that your good deed had on our family and how much you helped us. It just goes to show you, that there are still good people left in the world. Just when you start to think there may not be...

I try on a daily basis to give and give and do small things to make people smile and help people out... I try to make people's lives easier and bring them joy.

I aspire to be like you and let the circle of LOVE and Kindness continue.

  1. Beautiful post... and I needed to read it!

I'm sorry I didn't make it by yesterday. We ended up having a day like yours, I think, with some extended-family drama. It was just too much to handle as I ama pregnant emotional wreck right now, and I had to retreat from the world with Adam for a little while. I *do* have your CD ready, and will either drop it by on myway to Double Dave's tonight OR if you can swing by to pick it up when you pick up Briley from preschool, that'll work too!
