In the Beginning...

This is my first blog. I am new at this, but it looks like a lot of fun. I should probably introduce our family first. I am Nathan, born in Baytown, ended up in Katy, and that is where we are now. I married my sweetheart from 6th grade, Melissa. We met at 6th grade camp in California. We have been married for going on 6 years now and I am still on my honeymoon. We have two beautiful little girls, Briley and Kayelyn. Briley was born in October of '05 and Kayelyn was born in June of this year. They are my life. Briley is a very special little girl, she is so smart, it is frightening. Her mother and I are so proud of her and the little girl she is. Very seldom do we have problems, even for her "terrible twos", she is a very good girl. We love her more that anything.

Kayelyn is our special little girl. Since she as come into this world, it has been a roller coaster of events, most of which I will share in another blog that is still under works. She is our beautiful little red head, which we are really confused about. Briley is blond, momma is blond, daddy has dark hair, or should I say had dark hair...where is the red coming from? This is a question that I asked Missy, to which she punched me and gave me "the look". We also have two dogs, Zoey and Sully. Zoey is a Border Collie with a split face, black and white. Sully is a Goldendoodle with all curly black hair and one white spot on her chest. Most people made fun of me for getting a "doodle-dog", but they do not realize the size of a Standard Poodle. It is really funny to see their faces when they see her at 7 months old and she is already creeping on 70 lbs. Not so prissy after all!!!

Melissa and I are proud members of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2002. WHOOP!! We are very proud of our school and are looking forward to this year of football under the new coach.

I think that is a good intro to our family. Like I said, I am new at this, but I am looking forward to posting the events of the crazy life of The Brewers!
