Being Thankful

Everyone is still sleeping. Sleeping late on the morning of Thanksgiving. Outside the Canadian geese are flying south- I can hear them calling as they go by. The air is cold there is frost on the roof. Inside the heat is on, breakfast is cooking and everyone is snoring. :) I wanted to stop and think about how much I have to be thankful for. I am so lucky and so blessed.

I am thankful for my husband. My sweet, funny, kind, giving, selfless handsome husband. Without him I would not be where I am right now and I mean that with 100% of my being. Because of him I have two perfect children whom my world revolves around. I have a beautiful house, that without him I would not have. He has helped me make into OUR home. Painted the walls, hung pictures, dug gardens, organized everything. We have built this life together and I am in awe of how wonderful it is. I have the career I have because he bought me my dream camera and forced me to dream job when I doubted myself. I cannot imagine my life without him in it. He is home for the holidays and I am so happy.

I am thankful for my two beautiful, precious, smart girls. Briley is growing so quickly. she is smart and kind and giving. She wants nothing more than to cuddled up with her mommy or daddy and play with her sissy. Her intelligence baffles me. She is my little buddy and I love her with all my heart. I am thankful Kayelyn. My sweet miracle baby. I look at her everyday and relive what she went though to get to where she is today. God really blessed us. She is more perfect than I could have ever imagined. I am also thankful for my fuzzy kids, Sully and Zoey. They are the best dogs any family could ask for....

I am thankful for my parents who support me fully in every decision I make. They have helped us when the times are tough even if they couldn't really afford to, and for that I am eternally thankful. They have taught me everything I know today and I work everyday to pattern my parenting after them.

I am thankful for my mother and father in law. Everyday they make sacrifices to make our lives easier and to help us where they can. My mother in law watches my children for me while I work and helps me when I need it. My Father in law busts his rear everyday to be the successful businessman he is today. We are so blessed.

I am thankful for my beautiful sister who is pregnant with her first baby. She is a successful lawyer and has a beautiful life. I cannot wait to meet that precious baby! :) I am thankful for Brandon, her husband who loves her and supports her. He is such a great person.

I am thankful for my brother and law and my two sisters in law who make me laugh and bring joy everyday. I am so thankful we all live close to each other. It's so much fun!

I am thankful for all my grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins. I love you all, and even though I don't see you all the time, your always on my mind. I am thankful for my grandpa Lowry Pop. He passed away this year and I know he is watching over use every day.

I am thankful for my friends. You know who you are. a true friend is hard to come by. Someone who loves you and cares for you no matter what. Someone that doesn't require "Maintenance" or something in return for a favor. I love you all. Thank you for being you :)

I am thankful for my church family and their unconditional love and support.

I am thankful to God for making it all possible. I am so so blessed.
