EAR PIERCING!!!

For Briley's 3rd Birthday she has been asking to get her ears pierced. She really did very good. The funny part was when we got there, she said "I want daddy to go first." Daddy said "I don't need to get my ears pierced, I will hold you while you do it." She begged and him and batted her eyelashes and said "pleeeeeeeeease you go first." Well Since Daddy is wrapped around her pinky finger he relented and allowed the lady to pierce his right ear (yes, the "gay" ear) with a Star Stud. Things things we do for our kids. My husband is such a good daddy. I am not sure everyone would do that......
Well that made briley happy and she was happy to allow them to do hers after approving of their process on her daddy. Needless to say, daddy took the star stud out immediately. :) and all is right with the world.
Briley cried for just a minute and when they showed her her new earrings in the mirror she was thrilled and couldn't stop lloking at them all night with her barbie compact mirror :)

The Mysterious Disappearing and Reappearing Camera

REWARD

Someone stole my camera from my desk at work yesterday. I accidentally left it on my desk and when I came in this morning it was stolen. I was so upset. I let my manager know, and she told everyone here at work. That apparently rattled someone's cage because they decided to return my camera back to my desk after lunch today. The only thing is that the camera now has images not take by me. Whoever stole it took pictures of a stop sign, a blue sky, a street with a house, a dash board and a naked butt. Yes, that's right. A Naked Butt.

Anyone who has information on this is asked to call CRIME STOPPERS 1-800-222-TIPS
Have a NICE day!

Our Little Cubbie

Briley is in Awanas at Church. AWANA is a “nondenominational youth ministry committed to reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ” The meetings are a mixture of games, memorizing bible verses and listening to bible stories. The church is offering classes for ages 3 and up. She loves it and is earning patches for her accomplishments! She is so cute!

I love the Fall...

Last night I decorated our front door for all the kiddies on Halloween. It turned out so pretty :)

To Detox or Not to Detox??

Last night Nathan and I decided that we would try the Detox foot pads you hear so much about. They are solid white, they smell great. you leave them on your feet while you sleep and TADA when you wake up the pads are saturated in goop and sludge and toxins. Does it really work? This is our mission- to find out.
So we put them on before bed and left them on for about 8 hours. When we woke up our pretty white pads were soaked in goo and went from smelling like lavender to smelling like dirty socks and bacon. Weird? I think so.
This is a two week process. Stay tuned for updates. We will let you know if we become toxin free and have a new lease on life....

Time OUT

Obviously Briley gets put in time out often. Tonight, when thomas the train didn't look both ways when crossing the street, she put him in time out and told him to behave.

Never a Dull Moment

There is never a dull moment in our family. This weekend was the FIRST weekend in MONTHS that we haven't had hardcore plans. Could we keep it this way?? No. Not so much. Instead Nathan gave us all a scare and started having HORRIBLE chest pains. He could barely stand up straight. I was so worried.... So I took his stubborn butt to the ER where they did an EKG- Normal, a chest x-ray- Normal, and blood work- Normal. They determined he has Esophogitis, and infection of the esophgus that causes inflammation. He them got reflux and the acid started tearing him up inside. I was so relieaved to learn all was ok. So we came home and the entire family slept while I worked on my Bowtique assignments.... Maybe tomorrow will be a better day...

The Circle of Life is Complete

When I was 12 I had two true loves. Nathan Brewer & New Kids on The Block. I married one love and the other dissolved away. For years I mourned and missed them. So the day I found out NKOTB was making a come back I was about to have a heart attack. They say that things always make a come back... They are back and better than before. I got to attend the concert and it was probably one of the best nights of my life. The New Kids on The Block are Back and I went to see them perform.... can you believe it??
They put on the most amazing show I have ever seen. Everyone in the room was awe-struck. The coolest thing happened to us. We get there and we have seats WAY up high....This lady with blonde hair and a clip board comes up and asks us if we want to move to the front--are you kidding me?? Heck yes! So we get up and move all the way down to the side front about 8 rows back. What good luck!!! Our seats were so incredible- we had a full view of backstage and the full stage. We could see them before they came on stage, when they did a wardrobe change and when they grabbed some water and took a break....
They sang everything from their old album and their new album and the were awesome- way better than they used to be and by far way hotter!! The concert was completely sold out. I tried to take some pictures of the audience so you could see how full the place was. 90% of everyone there were devoted, die hard 30 year old Women who grew up listening to NKOTB- it was so cool. I felt like I was 12 again- LOL. Anyway, here are some of the best pics I got from last night. I am SO glad I got to go. I had SO much fun and I cannot wait until they come back to Houston!!!
In a Nut shell.....
The circle of life is complete. I have my two loves again. NKB & NKOTB!!!
