Oh Valentine!

Brilet had her Valentine's Show/Party today at school. It was the cutest thing ever. They Sang "Loud & Proud" and of course my Briley was the loudest. LOL She made Valentines for Daddy and I and teh teachers had an adorable little lunch for the parents!

I am so proud of my Precious Girl! She does so good at school!

Porta-Crib Success, Waffles, & a Homegirl

On Friday, we set up a new Porta-Crib that Teresa got. Both my mom and Teresa had mentioned us moving an actual Crib into our room instead of using the Pack-n-play or bassinet..... So we rearranged the furniture and put the porta-crib on my side of the bed so she could see us. I gave her a bottle and laid her down and she went right to sleep and slept ALL night!! The next day, she napped in it twice and slept all night again the next night! Guess what? She is still sleeping in it at night and taking her naps in there too!!! I am not sure what the difference is, maybe it's because she is more level to me and can see me (The Pack-n-play is LOW) but I am not going to question it further. She is sleeping there, and yes while she is still in our room, at least we have our bed back! Everyone is happier and sleeping much better!!!

After our busy day on Saturday the last thing we wanted to do was cook dinner. So we tried out a new burger joint right by our house. Mooyah Just opened and let me tell you, if you are a burger person, this place is amazing and very affordable :) Well, while we were waiting for our food. Briley Put on Daddy's hat and glasses and decided to act like the homegirl that she thinks she is.... she is so goofy.....

I am wondering where she learned all of this.... Not from me.... :)

Happy Birthday Claire-B

Claire turned ONE this weekend! Sara and Chris had a huge kid friendly bash at their house!!! All the pizza, cupcakes and candy you could ever wish for! Toys and more toys and a birthday cake shaped bouncehouse!!! Everyone had a great time and at the end of the day everyone was EXHAUSTED!!!

1. I hate having a stuffy nose. It makes me feel panicky, like I am suffocating.

2. Sunflowers make me very happy.

3. I am bit anal about bleach. I use it on everything in my house.

4. I wish I could mow lawns for a living.

5.I think my husband is the most supportive, kind loving man I know.

6. I love to vacuum. I love it more than I should.

7. I cannot STAND back stabbers, they make my sick

8. Thin Mints are as close to perfect as you can get

9. I talk in my sleep

10. My hiccups are so loud, one time someone asked if I was choking and should they call 911

11. I love my job, for the first time in my life, I am truly happy with my work-life balance

12. I hate folding laundry and emptying the dishwasher. HATE IT

13. I think everyone should live in Texas. It's a great place to be.

14. I adore my BFF's that live in Cali and I miss them so much.

15. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the greatest cereal of all time

16. The other day I was looking for my new computer at work and ended up in the morgue. That freaked me a bit

17. I am on my feet all day, everyday, I barely have time to eat and I lose no weight. My husband takes a night job waiting tables for extra money and drops 17 lbs even though he eats fatty food at work. Tell me how thats fair. :)

SICKY-POO

Last night was quite possibly one of the longest nights I have ever experienced. Instead of going to bed Kayelyn started screaming and did not stop..... she screamed and cried and threw up and cried more and more. I was about ready to head for thr ER when she finally started to calm down. We went to the doc today and they told us that her chronic ear infection that she has been fighting for over a month came back and her ear drum ruptured. Poor baby girl. Apparently thats very painful and then after the rupture it feels better.... She got two antibiotic shots at the doc and a referral to an ENT for Tubes... I feel so bad for her. Seems like the poor girl can't catch a break with her health.... Please pray that she gets better soon. She is just miserable....

Separation Anxiety, Valentine's Songs, &... Jingle Bells?

I have been telling everyone about Kayelyn's separation anxiety. She won't sleep anywhere but by us, she wants to be with you or ON you all the time. If you leave her sight, she flips out.... Below is an example of my little Diva playing her game... Please excuse her runny nose....Our allergies are really a mess right now!

Sit Up ALL BY HERSELF!!! BIG GIRL!

Last night we ate dinner over at the Barrow's house. They fed us Spaghetti in exchange for my carpet cleaning services. Everyone knows we work for food. LOL.... Anyway. It was a long overdue visit- we hadn't seen our dear friends since before Christmas. We finally exchanged presents as well. Good times were had by all. Claire fought her bedtime, Kayelyn puked on Sara and Briley and Corbin played swords and with Corb's new kitchen set. Most importantly, we learned that Chris' least favorite saying is "It is, what it is...."
